ERGONS is currently undertaking the Waste Analysis and Characterization Study (WACS) for Tagbilaran City, Bohol, commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH under the EU–Philippines Green Economy Partnership. The study focuses on assessing waste generation, composition, and disposal practices, with particular emphasis on plastic waste streams, recovery potential, and waste diversion opportunities. The findings will support evidence-based solid waste management planning, strengthen local waste recovery systems, and advance circular economy initiatives and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) implementation in Tagbilaran City.
ERGONS, in partnership with Eptisa Philippines Inc., provided technical consulting services for the Multi-Year Planning component of the ADB-financed Improving Growth Corridors in Mindanao Road Sector Project of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). The assignment focused on strengthening institutional capacity for infrastructure planning and investment programming, enhancing road asset management systems, and upgrading the Multi-Year Planning System (MYPS) into a web-based platform. ERGONS contributed expertise in GIS, data management, systems development, infrastructure planning support, and capacity building to improve evidence-based decision-making and promote more efficient and sustainable infrastructure investment planning across the Philippines.
ERGONS Project Marketing Consultant is currently providing environmental regulatory compliance and permitting services for PMFTC Inc.'s Tanauan Manufacturing Plant in Batangas, in connection with the establishment of a new nicotine pouch production line. The assignment covers regulatory screening, preparation and processing of the Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) Amendment, updating of the Environmental Performance Report and Management Plan (EPRMP) Checklist and Environmental Management Plan (EMP), and assessment of additional air emission sources, wastewater discharges, and hazardous waste streams. ERGONS is also facilitating amendments to the Permit to Operate (PTO), Hazardous Waste Generator ID, and Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) Clearance, ensuring alignment with applicable environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
ERGONS Project Marketing Consultant is currently providing environmental permitting and regulatory compliance services for PMFTC Inc.'s sales offices in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, and Guiguinto, Bulacan. The assignment involves securing Discharge Permits, Permits to Operate (PTO), and Hazardous Waste Generator IDs from DENR-EMB Region III. Services include site inspections, establishment of compliant hazardous waste storage facilities, preparation of Engineer's Reports, Hazardous Waste Management Plans, Contingency and Emergency Plans, and other technical documentation. ERGONS also facilitates regulatory applications through DENR-EMB's online permitting systems, supporting PMFTC's adherence to applicable environmental regulations and responsible waste management practices.
